Everson, WA 98247 Phone: (360) 966-3321 Fax: (360) 966-7512 Office Hours: 8:15-4:30 School Hours: 9:00-3:15 Brief Description of Services:  Nooksack Elementary School is located in a beautiful rural setting surrounded  by farmland.  We currently serve 332 students in grades kindergarten through grade five.  Our staff includes seventeen classroom teachers and 22 additional teachers and support staff.  A large number of parents, grandparents, relatives, and friends regularly attend school functions and volunteer in our building to provide support for student learning.  Our combined skills and attention are focused toward meeting the Washington State standards and we place a strong emphasis on the skills of reading, writing, and mathematics.  We also emphasize evaluation and assessment to measure student achievement. Brief History: Nooksack Elementary opened in the fall of 1998 to serve the populations of Everson (north of the Nooksack River Bridge) and Nooksack.  The bell over the front entry doors has been in the community for over 100 years.  It was donated to the school in September 2000 by the Nooksack Valley United Methodist Church.
