Chamber Meetings


General member meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month in January, March, May, July, September, and November. The Board meets on the Friday before to set the agenda for Tuesday.   • Everson Library - NVHC Display Cabinet: Tramp Art:  Enjoy Roger Germain’s collection of historic tramp art. Learn about the origins and misconceptions of this art movement where small pieces of wood, primarily from discarded cigar boxes and shipping crates, were whittled into layers of geometric shapes having the outside edges of each layer notch carved.   • Everson Library - Your Tech Learning:  Looking for a computer class? Staff member Cynthia Rogers offers friendly one-on-one, half-hour computer tutoring on your choice of device. Learn new computer skills using our public computers, or bring your tablet, smart phone, or laptop. Encouragement and advice for our increasingly digital world. All ages welcome. Schedule an appointment by calling the Everson Library. For: All Ages/Family.  Wednesdays, 2 PM to 3 PM.  Everson Library, 104 Kirsch Drive, (360) 966-5100.

           

  • Everson Library - Ukulele for Everyone:  Strumming and singing with the ukulele has become an international phenomenon! For this monthly event, ukuleles will be available for use courtesy of the Bellingham Ukulele Group. Join Cynthia Rogers for a demo, beginning lessons, and a song circle of the "happy instrument."
